Today we had the most fun riding on the Rain Forest Express in the Waitakere Rain forest. Finn loves trains and really enjoyed riding with Grandma and Grandpa. Everytime we went through a tunnel he gave Grandma a kiss :)

Our Mini-break
Colin took some annual leave a few weeks ago and we took off up to Tutuaka for a couple of nights. We used bookabach.co.nz and got a great little place on the beach.
The boys had so much fun in the sand and Colin and I even got a chance to have a kayak!

Fimbo is three!
Finn had a great third birthday and was thoroughly spoilt. HIs birthday was on a Thursday but he has Kindy on Thursdays (like all big boys!) so he had a party on Friday with plenty of guests and plenty of cake! It was a train party as Finn is a big fan of Thomas and all his friends. The kids got bandanas and train whistles and I made a train cake. Thomas came (of course) and so did Mummy, Daddy, Mikko, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Andy, Auntie Jenine and Finn's good friends Caleb, Hayley, Nadia and Aiden - they all had a blast!
