My little Mikko

Our wonderful Mikko is almost 15 months old and such a little darling. He loves thomas the tank engine and playing with Finn.

Anyway we had a bit of a scare with him the other day and he ended up in Starship Children's Hospital on Monday night/Tuesday and had to have a hernia operation :( He is a little trooper though and is absolutely fine now - think it was harder on Mum!!!

The Rain Forest Express

Today we had the most fun riding on the Rain Forest Express in the Waitakere Rain forest. Finn loves trains and really enjoyed riding with Grandma and Grandpa. Everytime we went through a tunnel he gave Grandma a kiss :)

Our Mini-break

Colin took some annual leave a few weeks ago and we took off up to Tutuaka for a couple of nights. We used bookabach.co.nz and got a great little place on the beach.

The boys had so much fun in the sand and Colin and I even got a chance to have a kayak!
